Season 2 Loki will answer questions after the finale of the first
Tom Hiddleston has announced that he will start filming this summer.
Loki star Tom Hiddleston has shared new details about the 2nd season of the Marvel show. The actor promised answers to many questions after the season 1 finale and confirmed that filming would start in the summer.
At the end of season 1, Loki (Hiddleston) and Sylvie (Sophie Di Martino) found the founder of the Office of Temporary Change (OTI) – “The One Who Remains” (Jonathan Majors). Sylvie killed the creator of UVI, and the multiverse branched off. The heroine pushed Loki into another dimension, and he ended up in an alternative UVI.
In an interview with The Playlist, Tom Hiddleston commented on the cliffhanger – he admitted that the open ending with hints of the plot of season 2 intrigued him very much. The actor noted that the Loki season 1 finale left a lot of questions that the sequel should answer:
“When I got to that point, I thought, ‘OK, there are some unanswered questions here. Yeah. And what’s going on?’ I didn’t want to stop; it made me keep going. And I’m sure this kind of ending fits in a lot of ways.”
Hiddleston also admitted that he is excited about the opportunity to return to work on the Loki series. According to the actor, he is already almost in season 2 – shooting starts in June:

“We are not filming yet, but we are preparing, starting in six weeks or so. So we’re moving forward in terms of script and story, and it’s really exciting. Yes, I can’t say too much, but there are a lot of questions that need to be answered.”
In Loki season 2, Loki will try to find Sylvie. Joining the heroes in the new adventure are Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Ravonna Racelayer (Gugu Embata-Ro).
